3. Service Plans

Free Plan:

• No registration or account creation needed
• All data is stored locally in your browser
• Unlimited chapter saves and notes
• No credit card required, no hidden fees
• Access to all core features without restrictions

Cloud Sync Plan ($3.99/month or $49 one-time):

• All Free Plan features included
• Cloud backup and sync across unlimited devices
• Access from any browser with license key
• Secure encrypted storage
• Priority support

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate YouTube's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to access other users' data

5. Cloud Sync Subscriptions

For Cloud Sync users:

• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Auto-Renewal: Monthly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• One-Time Payment: $49 one-time payment provides lifetime access with no recurring charges
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard
• Refunds: Contact support within 14 days for refund requests
• License Keys: You are responsible for keeping your license keys secure
• Fair Use: Cloud storage is subject to reasonable use limits

6. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by YouTube Chapter Notes and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Data and Privacy

Free Plan:

• All chapter saves and notes are stored using Chrome's local storage
• Your data never leaves your device
• You can delete all your data by uninstalling the extension
• We do not have access to your saved chapters or notes

Cloud Sync Plan:

• Your data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers
• To delete your cloud data, please contact us at orbixteam@proton.me
• We process your data only to provide sync services

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL YOUTUBE CHAPTER NOTES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which YouTube Chapter Notes operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
